Tau Sigma Trading
Tau Sigma Trading, LLC

We build mobile apps for people learning to understand markets.

An independent software studio focused on trading education and market literacy — and on mobile apps more broadly. We build tools that help people understand how markets work, not tools that place trades for them.

About

Small studio, one clear focus

Tau Sigma Trading, LLC is a small, independent app studio. Our primary focus is trading and markets education: apps that help people follow market activity, understand trading concepts, and build their own informed judgment — always with a clear line between education and financial advice. Alongside that focus, we build mobile apps more generally, with the same emphasis on clarity, craft, and staying out of the user's way.

Education first

Every app starts from a simple question: does this help someone understand markets better, not just react faster?

No black boxes

We explain what our apps show and why, instead of hiding the reasoning behind a signal or a score.

Mobile-first craft

Small, focused apps built for a phone in your hand — fast, legible, and free of unnecessary noise.

What we're building

Follow The LeaderIn development

A read-only, educational companion app for following public prediction-market leaderboard activity. It surfaces when top-ranked traders open unusually large or high-conviction positions, for informational purposes only — it does not place trades and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any market or exchange it references.

+

More apps are in early planning. If it's mobile, educational, and about helping people think more clearly about markets, there's a good chance we're already sketching it.

Where the name comes from

Tau & sigma

τσ

Tau and sigma are common shorthand in statistics and signal processing — time and spread, timing and variance. That's the spirit behind the name: markets are ultimately about timing decisions under uncertainty, and good tools should help people reason about both instead of promising to remove them.
